How It’s Made

All items, unless otherwise stated, are printed by hand at our studio in West Sussex. Every item is hand finished to ensure that every one is one of a kind.

Screen printed items

Printed by hand using only eco-friendly waterbased inks onto cotton items which are sustainably sourced and, where possible, organic.

Once the design is touch dry the ink splats are applied – this is the fun bit! 2-5 colours are used and it is these splats that ensure your item is as individual as you are.

Once these are fully dry the garment is then heat cured to set the ink and ensure the longevity of the print.

Heat press vinyl

For the vinyl designs we work the opposite way to screen printing and the splats are applied to the garment first. These are heat cured before the vinyl is applied.

Product Care

Both screen printing ink and heat press vinyl are extremely durable and long lasting, meaning your items will continue to look wonderful for years to come. Some fading may occur over time due to wear and washing – this is completely normal and only adds to the uniqueness of the product.

For best results, follow the care instructions on the label. Remember to always turn inside out and wash at 40 degrees. Do not tumble dry – a washing line or airer are recommended. Iron on the reverse.

Occasionally the vinyl can look wrinkled; this is normal and any wrinkles can easily be smoothed out by turning the garment inside out (or placing greaseproof paper over the top) and using a hot iron (cotton setting) directly over the design for a few seconds.

Very occasionally the edge of the vinyl design might lift off the fabric after a few washes. If this happens, it’s easily fixed. Place some greaseproof paper over the part where the vinyl has lifted and press for a few seconds with a hot iron (cotton setting) until the vinyl re-sticks to the fabric.
